One of the best things about going to a Zoo is the fantastic photo opportunities you are presented with. Whilst not quite as thrilling as capturing a brilliant snapshot of an Animal in the wild, a quality Zoo photo can still be rewarding for a photographer.
With this in mind I took along my trusty Canon 350D to my recent visit to the Adelaide Zoo. The aim? To set about capturing the best photos I could manage! The snaps below are some of the better results from that hard day’s work behind the lens!
Enjoy!
.) Funi put on a good show for everyone! She has a really vibrant personality
.) This Alligator didn't move an inch. I almost began to think it was a statue!
.) It's nap time, I managed to get some awesome shots of this beautiful Lioness!
.) Everytime I looked at a Hippo I automatically think of a Tank!
.) No, this isn't a Kangaroo! It's a Rock Wallaby
.) I love the expression of the Giraffe in this shot. Is it indecision?
.) Kung Fu Panda! Intruders Beware!
.) This my friends is a Emu. A native Australia flightless bird, similar to an Ostrich
.) I love this little guy, one of my favourite photos of the day!
.) Is it just me or does this Sea Kitten look unimpressed?
.) A Lioness conveys such grace and majesty
.) A Limur, the master of the vacant expression!
.) Such vibrant colours, I was stoked to get this close to a Parrot
.) Now that's what you call a Panda Stare! Funi is transfixed on something!
