I am consumed by doubt. For the first time I don’t have a clear idea on how to progress. My early exploration into the UK job market has not been encouraging. Positions are limited, interesting positions even more so. Jobs around my experience are few and far between and most ask for official HR qualifications which I don’t have. If I take a lower paid position, it’s likely to involve less responsibility. I then ask the question why do this job when I could be back in Australia earning more in a job with more responsibility and challenges, but do I really want to go back to Australia? Throw family and travel desires into the mix and my head is exploding.
So many questions, so little answers…….
I think the best thing to do now is just take each day as it comes and enjoy my first English Christmas with family and yes that includes enjoying the weather as well! The feelers are out there for opportunities, it’s early days yet. I’ll let things take their natural course and react accordingly.
