I’ve made no secret of the fact that I’ve struggled to generate new content on a regular basis whilst not travelling. Whilst I don’t mind the writing the odd reflective piece on positive experiences from the past, it’s not something I want to focus on.
This has prompted a serious re-evaluation of my blogging commitments and after much thinking I’ve decided to look at establishing a Football blog. Writing about Football is my other passion and with my own travel plans on hold for the moment, it makes sense to explore other options.
What does that mean for Illuminated Traveller? In a word, Focus.
I don’t want to stop writing travel related posts all together so I’m going to be scaling back to one post a week. These posts will deal primarily with travel advice relating to Melbourne and the surrounding areas. I’m hopeful that along with generating some good ‘fresh’ content, it will encourage me to explore Melbourne a little more. I’ll also be using Illuminated Traveller for any random thoughts on life that I may have along the way.
Expect these Melbourne focus posts to begin towards the end of July as I’m still very much in World Cup mode at the moment 
Now that England are out, I’m on the German bandwagon, Forza Deutschland!
