It’s World Cup Time!

by Adam Axon on May 23, 2010

In just under three weeks time the World Cup kicks off in South Africa and being the massive Football nut that I am, Illuminated Traveller is going to have a very strong World Cup theme for the month of June.

I’ll recall my adventures from the 2006 World Cup in Germany, share photos and talk about the current tournament. You may think that the World Cup is just about Football but hopefully by the end of month I’ll be able to convince you that it’s so much more than that. You may even be tempted to start planning your own World Cup Trip to Brazil in 2014!

To wrap up, I’ll share a photo from Germany, 2006!

Religious and philosophical texts are united in praising it as the glue that holds humanity together and yet in today’s world one could argue that unconditional love is becoming a rare commodity. Whilst that may well be the case I can tell [...]
