Today is one of those days. I’ve got another one of those dreaded English flus. I’m stressing about finding work. I’ve got a severe case of motivation drain and slowly but surely I think I’m developing cabin fever. In summary, I’m stuck!
It’s been the theme of the week as I’ve tried to take control of a situation that involves a lot of unknowns. Trying to control the unknown is a futile exercise. I know it, yet I’m still pouring all my energy into thoughts of the future rather than appreciating and living in the moment.
One interesting revelation from all of this is that getting ‘stuck’ can occur wherever and whenever. Whether you’re working a 9 to 5 job or you’re travelling around the world, getting stuck can and will strike you down if you lose touch with the moment.
For the time being I’m out of solutions, so I’m just going to read a book instead!
Au Revior,
Adam
